Make Your Own Kind of Music

Do You like music? Do You know that you can make your own music?
Here are some great ideas for making music.

Did you know that you don’t need musical instruments to make music? You can make your own interesting tunes using everyday things.

You can drum a chair with a pencil- tap, tap,tap!
You can scratch the tablecloth with your fingernails – scratch, scratch, scratch! You can bang pot lids together – clang, clang, clang!

You can turn the tap on a little – drip, drip, drip!
You can fry sausages in a pan – sizzle, sizzle, splat!
You can make the cat meow for its fish.

Maybe you think it is still too quiet. Perhaps your little brother can come to the rescue.
Tickle him if you dare and hear him screech.
The sound might hurt your ears though.

Here are some soft sounds you can make.
You can clap your hands gently.
You can whistle softly.
You can blow till you go blue in the face.
You can chew on a juicy pear.

You can go flip flap with a piece of paper.
You can tap on the floor with your bare feet.
